  • Agreed. I truly hope the team decides not to opt out of the games altogether. I hope they compete for Mr. Kumaritashvili's sake. I'm sure as well that man of the athletes will be wearing black armbands or even small Georgian flags in remembrance.

  • I think it's just a case of ignorance and stupidity - not malicious intent. You can't take people across borders w/out proper paperwork!

  • Not to be too facetious, but... I'm going to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving this year since they just moved here to Ohio and are close to my brother (and his family) and to me. So on my way up there, I'll actually go over a river and through the woods! (honest!)

  • Interesting - the Red Cross here in Columbus, OH told me that they can no longer accept plasma from women because of something that we can carry (something more prevelant in women) that causes recipients to reject the plasma.
